Admission Process


The procedure for admission requires the ward to be registered for admission. After registration the children are to undergo an admission test and interview and then are finally selected for admission. Admissions are offered based on the performance of the child in the admission test, giving due preference to Economically disadvantage students, brothers and sisters of past and present Saint Paul students, children of serving defense personnel.

Details of the procedure are explained hereafter.

Registration entails filling in the requisite “Application for Admission” form, remitting the registration fees and submitting the requisite documents at the time of registration. The children registered for admission will be called, through registered post or a telephonic call for an admission test and interview. The school will not be responsible in any way if the child is absent from the test hence please ensure that the School Office has your latest postal address. Admission Guidelines :

Admissions are granted to the children, irrespective of class, caste, creed or community. Admission is open only for Class I to IX.
After the admission of a student is declared final, the parents/guardian will be issued an admission form which, is to be submitted for final admission order (along with two passport size photographs of the student) to the principal within three days of such issuance, failing which the sect will be treated os vacant and may be filled by the next candidate in the list.
Admission of a child to the school will mean acceptance by the parents/guardians of school rules as in force or as amended from time to time. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the S.M.C.
Name and date of birth as recorded in the previous school transfer certificate / Municipal Corporation certificate/Pandiyat certificate will be considered final.
The Management reserves the right to accept or reject any application for admission/readmission without assigning any reason.
 

School Uniform and Books

The School uniforms, shoes and books shall be available within campus as per school kit list Registration :

Application form for registration will be available at the School from 15th January onwards on all working days between 9.00 A.M. and 4.00 P.M. Non refundable registration fee of Rs. 500/- has also to be paid simultaneously.
Duly completed form is to be submitted to the school office along with two latest passport size photos of the child positively on the date given in the receipt while taking the registration form from the counter.
The date of birth of the child is also to be mentioned on the declaration form by the parent after the child has been admitted. accepting that no request for any changes in the date of birth will be made at any time or under any circumstances in future.
